We are an informal group of residents who are motivated to make this a thriving and caring locality in which to live. Fellside Forum covers the area of the residents of Fellside, Greenside, Queen’s Rd, Allhallows & Beast Banks, Mount Pleasant, together with the area west of Stricklandgate to Nobles Rest; as well as the new housing estate of Ghyll Manor on Underbarrow Rd. Fellside Forum enables folk to get involved with their local community, through bi-monthly Zoom meetings. We also organise events and volunteer in a range of activities which enhance the community and our environment.

The Forum is always open to new ideas. Thanks to the support of our local councillors we have received funding in the past from the Town Council and Westmorland & Furness Council (W&F) to support events and purchase street furniture such as handrails, benches and litter bins.

Fellside Forum holds regular bi-monthly meetings (beginning in January) on a third Tuesday at 7pm. These meetings are mainly on-line throughout the year and in person for our AGM. These are open to all residents to attend and are an opportunity to meet local councillors and representatives of other local organisations.
